In dit bericht op onze site hebben we al gemeld dat er via de Russische EA site een boxart opgedoken was van De Sims 3 Beestenbende. SimGuruGraham (Graham Nardone – Sims 3 Producer) heeft even naar die boxart gekeken en zegt op zijn Twitter account dat het nog niet de definitieve box is.
Waarschijnlijk wordt deze boxart alleen gebruik om iets te hebben voor op de informatie pagina’s en de Origin / EA store pagina’s.
So, I saw some fans discussing cover art from the Russian version of Pets on our forums. Being the curious guy I am, I decided to walk upstairs and check out the real thing where they actually create it. Let’s just say I don’t think you’ve seen the final cover art yet 😉
so the russian and other box arts that showed up on the different region sims 3 pages is not the final thing?
Hah well, it’s definitely not the one I saw. Perhaps the other regions are using a different box art, but I don’t recall us doing that in the past. It’s actually one of my favorite things to look at in our office; many of the games that EA publishes have lots of different cover art concepts created before they narrow it down to the best one – they’re always fun to check out.
PS: Een Nederlandse versie is er nog niet en zal er waarschijnlijk op korte termijn ook niet komen. Uiteraard melden we een Nederlandse versie (placeholder of definitieve boxart) meteen.
