  • Sponsors in De Sims 3 Supersnelle Accessoires zijn fictief

    Op het officiële Amerikaanse Sims 3 forum is wat onrust ontstaan over de officiële aankondiging van het tweede accessoirespakket voor De Sims 3. In de aankondiging is namelijk sprake van ‘een racepak met sponsorlabels’.

    Het Sims Team had in de laatste patchnotes al aangekondigd dat er in de toekomst misschien ingame reclame in De Sims 3 komt (zie ook dit bericht op onze site) maar dat wordt voorlopig niet ingevoerd. De sponsorlabels op de racepakken, die er ook voor kinderen zullen komen met een kikker als logo, zijn van fictieve bedrijven en ook nog eens in het Simlish.

    There are a number of folks expressing concern about the new ‘sponsor-laden racing jumpsuits’ in The Sims 3 Fast Lane Stuff pack and I want to clear up any confusion about these clothing items. The sponsors displayed on the jumpsuits are fictitious companies and all the text is written in Simlish. Real ads will not appear on this clothing. The kids’ uniforms even have a cute frog logo on them!

    I’m really excited about the cars, clothing & other cool objects that are in this stuff pack and can’t wait until we can share more with you!

  • PC Only geeft De Sims 3 Ambities een 7,5

    The Sims 3: Ambitions is een add-on die een hoop leuke dingen toevoegt aan The Sims 3. Je kunt nu allerlei interessante ambities uitvoeren en zo verlost worden van die saai normale baan. De add-on bevat ook een hoop andere nieuwe mogelijkheden en items om te kopen. Het is alleen jammer dat de add-on ook een aantal nieuwe bugs heeft toegevoegd aan de game en dat de ambities qua variatie en werkzaamheden niet allemaal dezelfde kwaliteit bieden. Ambitions is echter een must have voor elke Sim fan en zal zorgen voor een hoop plezier.

  • De Sims 3 Ambities review op Gamesradar

    One problem people will have with this expansion is the limited number of professions. They are a fantastic addition to the experience if you want a Sim who’s a stylist, but players who prefer other careers are forced to miss out. We guess it’s too hard to give the journalist profession exciting gameplay? Then again, if you pursue every profession until you master it, there’s quite a bit of gameplay here. It’s just that not all of it will appeal to everybody. The stylist profession will probably be divisive in that regard, especially when dealing with picky makeover clients.

    All told, Ambitions makes a lot of sense as an expansion, and it does a ton of things right. It’s certainly one of the meatier expansions in the franchise’s history in terms of sheer gameplay benefits, but it may segment its audience a bit too much, as not every profession will be enjoyable for every player.

  • PC Gamer geeft De Sims 3 Ambities een 8,5

    Ambitions adds other features, including subtle but helpful UI improvements, entertaining and lucrative new Inventing and Sculpting skills, a real-estate market to invest in, tattooing, plus all the extra clothes, hairstyles, traits and miscellaneous objects we’ve come to expect in a Sims expansion. They’re all uncomplicated additions, but Ambitions really gets what The Sims players love about the game, and does a superb job of giving them more of it.

  • De Telegraaf over De Sims 3 Ambities

    De Sims 3 bracht, in tegenstelling tot de vorige twee delen, veel bewegingsvrijheid. Je kon gewoon de deur uitlopen en de stad ingaan zonder laadtijden. Waarom beroepsvrijheid daar niet meteen onderdeel van uitmaakte, blijft de vraag. Met De Sims 3: Ambities heb je nu daadwerkelijk invloed op elke minuut dat een sim wakker is. De nieuwe beroepsmogelijkheden zorgen voor vers bloed en de nodige verassingen. Een prima uitbreiding om fans weer uren bezig te houden.

  • Gamequarter geeft De Sims 3 Ambities een 7

    De Sims 3: Ambities voert enkele vernieuwingen door op het gebied van de carrière van je Sims. Het levenspad van je Sim kan je nu vrijwel volledig volgen en voor de echte controlfreak maakt deze uitbreiding de originele titel nét wat completer. Toch zijn de veranderingen niet wereldschokkend en is Ambities wellicht enkel voor de fans nog interessant. Als we echter kijken naar voorgaande uitbreidingen binnen de franchise, dan kunnen we deze zeker rekenen tot één van de betere.
