  • Goodies van De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk handson

    Zoals jullie weten zijn Jimmy en ik (Ansjj2) gisteren middag naar het EA kantoor geweest om De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk / The Sims 3 Supernatural te spelen.

    Onder het genot van een lekker koel drankje en een gezellige babbel, hebben wij genoten van het spel. Jammer genoeg moeten wij de informatie die wij nu hebben stil houden tot 1 augustus én 13 augustus.

    Aan het eind van de dag hebben we nog een leuke goodie bag mee gekregen met daar in: een T-shirt, een poster en oordopjes! Een zeer geslaagde goodie bag, want ik kan mijn ogen niet meer van de spulletjes afhouden!

    Hierbij willen Jimmy en ik EA Benelux en dan vooral Jordy bedanken voor de geslaagde en gezellige dag én natuurlijk voor de goodies.

  • De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk: preview op Gaminglive

    De Engelstalige site Gaminglive heeft een leuke prview online gezet van De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk.

    All in all, Sims 3: Supernatural sounds as if it is shaping up to be an interesting release and one which could well bring disillusioned players back to the Sims 3 fold after the weak Generations expansion and several off-putting branded stuff packs (Diesel is incoming and the less said about Katy Perry the better). Magic is always a fan favourite and the inclusion of ‘build from scratch’ supernatural Sims will undoubtedly be a winner, as long as there are enough socials and interactions to make them more than a fleeting novelty.

    Fingers crossed that there will be more than enough objects to make the build/buy crowd happy too, but given that EA have shot their mystical load on the Sims Store with these things, we hope for the sake of those who have already bought them that the expansion includes more than just carbon copies (although obtaining the otherwise pricey sets this way would be nice, as long as that isn’t all we get). Overall, the theme of the seventh expansion presents a broad canvas of potential – let’s hope that EA don’t skimp with the paints this time and deliver a solid, comprehensive addition to the Sims universe.

    Vandaag gaan een aantal Nederlandse De Sims fansites naar EA Benelux om De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk te spelen. Voor Sims Nieuws zullen AnsjJ2 en I_mJimmy erbij zijn en zij gaan proberen de vragen die onze forum leden gesteld hebben beantwoord te krijgen.

    De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk Handson begint rond 14.00 uur en via Skype is er ook contact met de producers van The Sims Studio in Amerika. Of er tijdens de handson ook getweet mag worden weten we niet: dat merken we vanzelf wel vanmiddag.

    Op De Amerikaanse De Sims 3 site heeft Brittany Henry, Associate Producer, een leuk blog neergezet over Moonlight Falls. Moonlight Falls is de buurt die met De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk meekomt.

    We zien niet alleen enkele openbare plekken in de buurt, maar krijgen ook een introductie van een paar van de standaard families die in Moonlight Falls wonen.

    The warm homey atmosphere of The Toadstool makes it a great place to unwind. Grab a rocking chair by the fire or take a seat on the upstairs balcony for a perfect people watching location.

    For a howling good time, give Varg’s Tavern a try. This old converted warehouse is now deemed the local ‘supernatural hangout’ and a great place to grab a juice or pick a fight.

    Aankomende dinsdag, 10 juli 2012, is er een hands-on van De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk, en Sims Nieuws heeft het geluk om erbij te zijn en het spel als een van de eerste toch echt te gaan spelen!

    Natuurlijk hopen, en denken, wij dat jullie wel wat vragen hebben, of misschien wel meer dan een handje vol, en die willen wij erg graag beantwoorden! Daarom kan je deze vragen nu stellen!

    De brandende vragen die je hebt kun je in het topic, waarvan de link hieronder staat, neerzetten! Je kan alleen reageren als lid van ons forum, om het overzichtelijk te houden kan je het daarom dus ook niet via een reactie op dit nieuwsbericht doen.

  • De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk: nieuwe details en nieuwe videochat

    Onze collega’s van Pinguintech melden dat SimGuruKarsky weer wat vragen over De Sims 3 Bovennatuurlijk heeft beantwoord. En ook dat er begin augustus een nieuwe Live Chat komt over dit nieuwe uitbreidingspakket.

    1. Can pets be supernaturals?
    Zombie dogs or fairy kittens could make for a whole game itself! In The Sims 3 Supernatural, pets that you’ve created using The Sims 3 Pets will not take on supernatural abilities. However, witches that own a cat or one of the other “small animals” will gain special benefits such as having an increased skill with the wand, having an increased mood and having a slower drain on magic.

    2. Can pets turn into zombies?
    No, pets do not turn into zombies.

    3. What’s new for ordinary Sims?
    There are lots of new things for ordinary Sims to discover in The Sims 3 Supernatural. For instance, there are new traits to choose from such as ‘Supernatural Skeptic’ or ‘Supernatural Fan’ which will sway your Sims one way or another to either get along with supernatural Sims or want to steer clear of them. These traits create humorous new storylines that are fun to watch as your Sims fully embrace the unknown or try to ward them off.
