Het lijkt wel alsof bij iedere release van een nieuwe wereld de achtergrond op de De Sims 3 Site wordt veranderd. Ook dit keer is de achtergrond gewijzigd en natuurlijk met een mooie screen van Aurora Skies. Wat vinden jullie van deze achtergrond?

SimGuruTaterTot’s Aurora Skies Blog
I can finally say it – we have a new world coming out, and it’s called The Sims 3 Aurora Skies!!
There are so many aspects of this world that are amazing – but i’ll leave a few of the details for the weeks to come.
My favorite thing about Aurora Skies? Hands down? The northern lights (or Aurora Borealis to some). If you have any cloud cover at night in Aurora Skies – you’ll see the northern lights. The more clouds in the sky – the brighter it looks — up to a certain point! Thick, stormy clouds won’t show the northern lights. If you watch the skies long enough, you’ll notice that it’ll change colors as well.
Another thing that I really like about this world is the fact that there’s so much natural beauty. There’s steam actually rising from the geothermal lake, you walk to the edge of the waterfall and get an amazing view of the entire world, and the houses are enormous – which is perfect since I like building large families.
That’s all I’m going to divulge for now regarding Aurora Skies. You’ll find more about premium content and the venues soon. Keep your eyes peeled!

De Sims 3 70’s, 80’s, 90’s Accessoires is nu verkrijgbaar!
Hallo allemaal,
Nu de game verkrijgbaar is, wilde ik jullie wat over de nieuwe muziek vertellen in het De Sims 3 70’s, 80’s, & 90’s Accessoirespakket! We hebben drie nieuwe radiostations, eentje voor elk decennium – Disco, Rock en Rap.
Het discostation is een nostalgische flashback naar de jaren ’70… en de originele De Sims-game! Jazeker, de disconummers die je in De Sims 3 70’s, 80’s, & 90’s hoort zijn de originele disconummers van De Sims!
Het rockstation is extra bijzonder omdat het een nummer van een van onze fans, Julian Conroy, bevat We ontdekten Julian op YouTube en waren helemaal weg van zijn bewerking van de originele muziek van De Sims en vonden het zo leuk dat we zijn muziek hebben opgenomen in het De Sims 3 70’s, 80’s, & 90’s Accessoirespakket! We vinden het geweldig om contact te onderhouden met de community en jullie creaties te bewonderen (en te horen!), dus blijf ze met ons delen…en wie weet verschijnt op een dag een van jouw creaties in onze games!
Het rapstation speelt geweldige tracks uit het De Sims 3 Party Uitbreidingspakket en is opnieuw een nostalgisch knikje naar de originele Sims. Alle rap artiesten komen uit Oakland, CA – en freestylen op de beats van ons eigen geluidsteam!
Dus, waar wacht je nog op? Trek die jeans met wijde pijpen, strakke stretchtopjes en schoenen met plateauzolen aan en stuur je Sims terug in de tijd met het De Sims 3 70’s, 80’s, & 90’s Accessoirespakket!

Hoi Simmers!
Nogmaals bedankt voor jullie deelname tijdens onze live-uitzending op 8 januari waarbij we officieel De Sims 3 Studententijd aankondigde! We vinden het geweldig om al jullie halsuitreikende commentaar en opwinding te zien op de forums en we weten dat jullie een heleboel vragen hebben over dit nieuwste uitbreidingspakket. Vorige week wist ik SimGuruArgus te tackelen om hem zo veel mogelijk vragen te laten beantwoorden. Hij vond dat jullie uitstekende vragen hadden gesteld en hieronder vind je zijn antwoorden.

V: Kunnen Sims trouwen en zwanger worden op de universiteit?
A: Er zijn geen bruiloften en geen zwangerschappen. We hebben dingen vrij simpel gehouden als Sims op de universiteit zitten.
