De Sims 3 Beestenbende voor Xbox 360 review door Xbox Only
In tegenstelling tot de PC-versie van The Sims 3: Pets, vinden we op de consoles geen paarden terug. Dit is jammer, want dit zou het spel veel interessanter maken. Ook andere kleine huisdieren, zoals vogels en slangen, zijn niet beschikbaar in de consoleversies. De consolebezitters worden dus beperkt tot honden en katten. In een huishouden kunnen er maximum 5 huisdieren aanwezig zijn, want er moet minstens 1 Sim wonen en het maximum aantal personen en huisdieren samen is vastgelegd op 6.

De Sims 3 Store problemen zijn opgelost
Afgelopen week hebben we in dit bericht op onze site al gemeld dat er wat problemen waren met de Sims 3 Store.
Die problemen zijn nu weer opgelost dus iedereen kan weer Simpoints kopen, spullen opnieuw ophalen via de ‘aankopen tot nu toe’, een code verzilveren, enzovoorts.

The game isn’t without its issues though. In-game sounds are noticeably light perhaps due to space issues, the ‘Free Will’ AI in places often forgets that your Sim has a job to go to, and, unless I’m mistaken, the option to hire Maids, call for a Pizza delivery etc has been entirely removed meaning that there is far more emphasis on the player making sure everything is spick and span which can inevitably be a time consuming frustration. Areas away from your home, whilst large, are too sparsely populated even if they are a welcome change of scenery from your humble abode.
After the misdirection of lacklustre Nintendo 3DS launch offering, EA have provided a far more robust handheld experience. Full of the charm and character that has allowed the series to become such a success, The Sims 3: Pets is well worth the investment of your Simoleons.

Pal Gaming Network: review De Sims 3 Beestenbende (PS3)
The Sims 3: Pets is little more than a re-release of last year’s console port with a few endearing, inessential features thrown into the mix. The core game is still solid fun, but it is disappointing that a little more effort was not made to render this anything more than a minor revision of a known quantity.
