Wordt dit De Sims 3: consoles en handheld boxart?
Tijdens de EA Studio Showcase, zie ook dit bericht op onze site, kwam ook kort De Sims 3 consoles voorbij. Een van de plaatjes tijdens de presentatie liet een artwork zien dat wel erg op een boxart lijkt. Wordt dit de hoes voor De Sims 3 op consoles en handhelds of is het een gewone illustratie gemaakt voor de presentatie?
We zullen het binnenkort wel weten.

De hele presentatie duurt ruim een uur maar is de moeite van het bekijken zeker waard. Gelukkig komt het nieuws over De Sims als eerste langs.
Gamesradar: wat is nieuw voor De Sims 3 consoles?
Gamesradar heeft een kort artikel online gezet over de nieuwe karma powers in De Sims 3 voor consoles en handhelds.
There are 13 karma powers in all, eight “good” ones and five “bad” ones. The first one we saw, called Get Lucky, grants your Sim boosted luck for a limited amount of time, which we used to quickly romance another Sim. We’re told that getting to the “first kiss” stage of a Sims relationship can be a laborious affair, but with karma powers we were able to progress our single mom Sim from introductions to first kiss with the man of her dreams in a matter of seconds.

Op dit moment wordt al het nieuws flink gedomineerd door de aankondiging van De Sims 3: Na Middernacht, het derde uitbreidingspakket voor De Sims 3.
We zouden bijna vergeten dat er over precies 7 weken ook nog een accessoires pakket aankomt: De Sims 3: Supersnelle Accessoires: het tweede accessoires pakket voor De Sims 3.

Wat meer details over De Sims 3: Na Middernacht
World of the Sims heeft wat nieuwe informatie die via SimsCookie binnen is gekomen uit een interview met Luc Smith van EA over de derde uitbreiding voor De Sims 3 vertaald:
* Een stedelijke omgeving.
* Beroemdheden kunnen op de vlucht voor de paparazzi
* Nieuwe faciliteiten.
* Je kan een vampier worden.
* Enkele nieuwe beroep: Acteur, Barman
* Je Sims kunnen in een serie spelen en worden zeer goed betaald!
* De paparazzi kan schandalen en uw prive-leven blootleggen.
* Je kan in een band zitten en dan nog een extra baan nemen (als ik het goed heb vertaalt)
* vampieren zullen slapen als het dag is, en zullen niet eten zoals de andere simsGamespot over De Sims 3 Consoles en handhelds
Gamespot heeft een nieuw artikel online gezet over De Sims 3 voor op de console.
Another feature that has been added is the challenge system where you can take on more than 300 challenges of varying difficulty to earn points. With these points you can purchase karma, furniture or real estate at the challenge store. Challenges are essentially quests that give you a huge list of things to do to explore the town, unlock new challenges, items or just give you an excuse to get you out of the house. You can share your completed challenges or achievements like your first kiss on Facebook or Twitter, which we were told was to encourage people to share their stories with the community.
