Review Sims 3 Luxe op IGN
The artwork of the objects is almost universally better than anything you can get from the online Sims 3 store, and you’ll pay much less for the Stuff Pack than the total cost of purchasing the same number of new objects from the online store. However, considering the leanness of the Stuff Pack (one new object per category, no new wallpaper or flooring), it’s not like the Stuff Pack will allow you to overhaul your neighborhoods. High-End Loft Stuff Pack is for hardcore Sims 3 players who want to have every object in the universe for decorating their homes; everyone else should just wait for the next true expansion pack, which should have far more options.

Kapsel bug opgelost in TSR Workshop
Een week geleden konden we melden dat er een nieuwe versie uit is van de The Sims Resource Workshop: een van de weinige tool waarmee je nog eigen spullen kunt maken voor de Sims 3. Zie ook dit bericht op onze site.
Vandaag staat er een post op de site van TSR Workshop dat iedereen ‘even’ de Workshop opnieuw moet downloaden: er zat een bug in bij het maken van kapsels.
We have released a new version of RC4 with a smaller bugfix for anyone interested in creating hair. Please re-download the RC4 release again if you intend to create new hairstyles.

EA heeft op zijn perssite EA Extranet 2 nieuwe screens neergezet van Sims 3 Luxe. Ze horen bij een persbericht van EA UK die je in de ‘meer lezen …’ kunt vinden.

Er zijn 2 nieuwe Engelstalige reviews online gekomen van Sims 3 Luxe:

The highlight of the pack, however, has to be the 10th Anniversary ‘gifts’ that also come in the stuff pack: three favourites from previous Sims titles. Yes, the vibromatic bed is finally back, as is the large (now stockable) aquarium, and an awesome electric guitar. Make sure you also check out the Sims 3 website for other 10th Anniversary items that you can download for free.
