Grant Rodiek over Celebreties in De Sims 3 Na Middernacht
De Engelstalige Gamesradar heeft associate producer Grant Rodiek aan de tand gevoeld over Celebreties in De Sims 3 Na Middernacht. Bij het interview zitten ook 2 nieuwe screens.
GR: Are there any disadvantages to being a celebrity? Will we have to deal with stalkers or bad movie reviews? Do you have to worry about your popularity?
Rodiek: Yes, the paparazzi will stalk your Sims from time to time, which is a problem your Sims can solve if they wish. There are also scandals, which we’re quite happy about. If your celebrity Sim is caught doing something in public like, cheating on their wife for example, this could hurt their public image. To defend themselves, celebrities can pay off the paparazzi or sue their assailants…it’s great!

Het Sims 3 team werkt aan seizoenen / weersomstandigheden
Al sinds het De Sims 3 basisspel te koop is vragen fans om de terugkeer van enkele features die ze kennen uit De Sims 1 of De Sims 2. Naast dieren is dat natuurlijk Seizoenen, oftewel weersomstandigheden in De Sims 3.
Voor hun is er goed nieuws: op deze pagina van De Sims 3 Na Middernacht preview op de Italiaanse fansite Sims 3 Cri zegt producer Melanie Lam het volgende:
Some people are waiting for “the weather come back”. There isn’t weather in this EP, but we asked about Melanie and her response was very positive at least in our opinion.
She said that they wanted to include the weather in this expansion, but they postponed its inclusion to make a great weather not only a marginal function in an EP with a lot of stuff.
So, can we think that weather/seasons will be the theme of the next expansion?
Vertaald: het Sims 3 team was van plan seizoenen / weersomstandigheden al in De Sims 3 Na Middernacht te doen maar hebben dit niet gedaan omdat ze deze weeromstandigheden niet slechts een deel van een uitbreiding wilde laten zijn.
We kunnen hier wel uit concluderen dat er dus echt seizoenen / weersomstandigheden voor De Sims 3 gaat komen: de vraag is alleen wanneer. Wie weet wordt dit dan de volgende uitbreiding?
Ik wil nog wel even kwijt dat we even moeten afwachten tot dit echt officieel nog eens bevestigd wordt, er zijn al genoeg geruchten geweest al lijkt deze wel erg serieus te zijn.

De Italiaanse fansite Sims 3 Cri heeft 2 nieuwe delen online gezet van hun De Sims 3 Na Middernacht preview. 1 deel gaat over de celebreties, het tweede deel over vampieren
