  • Producer blog: A Designer’s Thoughts: Armored Black Dragons

    Check out what Designer Alan Copeland has to say about the Baby Dragons he created for The Sims 3 Dragon Valley! The Armored Black Dragon will be available as a bonus unlock when you own both The Sims 3 Dragon Valley and the Dukes of Bow Renn Faire venue – both available on The Sims 3 Store on May 30, 2013. 
    Some have said that finding an Armored Black Dragon is a bad omen and surely its presence is a sign of evil on the horizon but the truth is that these mysterious critters are beyond the trappings of traditional “good vs. evil”. They are born with an inherent understanding of many of the Reaper’s secrets, a burden that often makes them detached and distant.

    Dinsdag 18 juni 2013 om 19:00 zal er nog een livebroadcast plaats vinden dit keer zal het gaan over de wereld van De Sims 3 Exotisch Eiland: Island Paradiso en nog een introductie tot het team wat werkt aan De Sims 4.

  • SN’s Nieuws overzicht: iedere week alle nieuwtjes op een rij

    Dames en heren, Simmers en andere wezens! Binnenkort verschijnt er op SimsNieuws een nieuw week overzicht met daarin alle nieuwtjes van de afgelopen week maar dan kort samengevat. Dus als je een klein nieuwtje mist, wees niet bang: We houden jullie op de hoogte! FranSor zal binnenkort de eerste blogpost hiervoor online gaan zetten, dus houd SimsNieuws in de gaten voor jullie dagelijkse portie nieuws (Maar dan samengevat)

  • [Update] De Sims 3 Mei Nieuwsbrief

    Gisteren vermelde wij al dat de nieuwsbrief was uitgekomen, waarschijnlijk ging er iets niet goed met de link in het plaatje vandaar de update. Als je aangemeld bent voor de nieuwsbrief heb je deze gisteren binnen gekregen via de mail, heb je hem nog niet ontvangen maar wil je deze wel ontvangen? Meld je dan via de banner hierboven aan voor de nieuws brief, met de nieuwsbrief wordt je op de hoogte gehouden door het laatste Sims nieuws dat er is.

    Naast dat deze maand de leuke nieuwsbrief is gekomen stond er in de nieuwsbrief een leuke win actie voor op twitter. Zet dus snel je verlanglijstje op je twitter account met de hashtag #TS3MermaidsVIP , met je gebruikersaccount en wie weet maak jij wel kans op een leuk store item.

  • [REMINDER] Vandaag is de De Sims 3 Live Broadcast

    Vanavond om 19:00 uur is het eindelijk zo ver! De Sims 3 Live broadcast, deze keer zal de broadcast over Dragon Valley gaan, met een demonstratie van de wereld en daarnaast gaan we ook de teamleden van het ‘De Sims 4 team’ ontmoeten!
    De Broadcast zal vanavond op de site worden geplaatst, mocht je het missen wees niet getreurd! Er wordt een verslag van de Broadcast gemaakt en de herhaling komt natuurlijk ook op de site!

  • Uitleg over De Sims 3 Facebook/Twitter

    Gisteravond meldden wij al dat er veranderingen zitten aan te komen in de ‘De Sims 3′ Facebook pagina’s zoals Sims Social en Middeleeuwen, maar nu is er ook een verklaring gegeven waarom deze Facebook pagina’s allemaal naar één pagina gaan.

    SimGuruTatorTot plaatst als volgt op het Amerikaanse forum dit:

    It’s spring cleaning time on Facebook and The Sims Community team will be merging our product pages to provide you a one-stop destination for all things related to The Sims. Whether it’s news about The Sims 3, The Sims 3 Store, The Sims Medieval, The Sims Social, The Sims 4 or general team updates, you will be able to find it all in one place under The Sims Facebook page.

    We know some of you may have received an email from Facebook this week about renaming The Sims 3, The Sims Social and The Sims Medieval pages. This was an effort on our part to give you a heads up about the communications merge before it takes place.

    There is no action to take. In the coming weeks, Facebook will merge The Sims 3, The Sims Social and The Sims Medieval pages to become The Sims Facebook page. We will follow-up with more details as soon as this merge takes place.

    Also, later this year, our Twitter account will be taking a similar approach where @TheSims3 will become @TheSims. We’ll definitely keep you updated as to when this happens but for now you’ll still find our handle as @TheSims3 on Twitter.

    Lastly, our spring cleaning efforts have also led us to find some really awesome swag that we want to give out as a thank you for being amazing fans. We’ll be running random giveaways across the Forums and Twitter over the next few weeks so be sure to stay tuned on when those will be taking place.

    Kort samengevat: Er komt één generale pagina voor De Sims, hier in wordt je geupdate over Middeleeuwen, Sims Social, De Sims 3 en zelfs De Sims 4. Verdere details hierover komen nog. Twitter wordt later dit jaar ook opgeruimd en wordt één globale account, wederom weer met dezelfde reden.
