Als je van De Sims 3 machinima houdt en onze site een beetje volgt dan weet je dat we regelmatig aandacht hebben besteed aan machiniamaker Faalq.
De Amerikaanse De Sims 3 site heeft nu een ‘machinima artist spotlight‘ over hem online gezet en we hebben dat interview ook maar even hier neergezet.
We decided to interview Faalq and feature his videos on our channel for our second Machinima Artist Spotlight.
- What got you started in The Sims 3 machinima creation?
- It’s kinda hard to remember, I just wanted another chance as a Machinima creator. At the time I made my first The Sims 3 video I already took into account a couple of tips from some marvellous underrated The Sims 2 machinima creators. In fact, I used to create The Sims 2 machinimas when I was younger too. They weren’t good at all haha, but I still like them.

Don’t get me wrong – I love The Sims, having played the first two iterations on the PC, with all the expansion packs. And I was rather excited at the prospect of being able to play The Sims 3 on a console – so excited in fact, I walked all the way up to Tesco in the rain on the day after it launched to buy me a copy, and paid £39.70 for the privilege. Continuing the trend of bringing The Sims 3 to console owners, EA are now going to release it for the upcoming 3DS. But all we got to play was this demo!

Geïnteresseerde in De Sims Middeleeuwen Collectors Edition?
GAME, een Engelse website die een beetje lijkt op Bol.com uit Nederland, heeft de product details van De Sims Middeleeuwen Collectors Edition bekend gemaakt. En nou heeft SimPrograms ook opgemerkt dat ze zo’n beetje over de hele wereld bezorgen.
De game is daar €48,- euro, en daar komen ongeveer €3,50 verzendkosten naar Nederland bij De game is ook te verzenden naar België en Luxemburg. Dus als je geïnteresseert bent in de Collectors Edition is het een optie om te overwegen. Je kan hier onder bekijken wat er allemaal in zit.

Nieuwe preview van De Sims Middeleeuwen door Gamepro
After our relationship hit a high note with the Rough Housing, the game asked if I wanted to solve the Witch problem with Military Strategy or sex. Hal had another Dry Spell about the same time, so of course I choose the latter. But the Witch had standards — she wanted to go on a date to Town Square where Hal could show her off before getting into bed. But who should be hanging around the village well but a Warlock — the Witch’s ex-boyfriend.

Barnacle Bay voor De Sims 3: logo en waarschijnlijk alleen code
In dit bericht op onze site konden we al melden dat de Barnacle Bay buurt voor De Sims 3 binnenkort ook in de winkels te koop zal zijn. Maar … waarschijnlijk is het alleen een code waarmee je een digitale versie Barnacle Bay kunt ophalen en zit er geen DVD in de box.
Of Barnacle Bay ook in Nederland en Vlaanderen te koop zal zijn op deze manier weten we nog steeds niet. EA Nederland beantwoord onze vragen altijd snel maar op deze vraag hebben we nog steeds geen antwoord gehad.O ja: het De Sims 3 Barnacle Bay logo is er nu ook.
