    Gamersradar heeft een erg leuke, en exclusieve, preview online gezet van De Sims 3 Na Middernacht. Het gaat vooral over hoe je een band moet starten in De Sims 3 Na Middernacht. Het is een preview die veel verteld over de bands in De Sims 3 Na Middernacht die duidelijk een belangrijke rol spelen in het spel. Met deze preview (dat tevens een interview is) zijn 3 nieuwe screenshots meegekomen.

    The Sims 3: Late Night is bursting at the seams with new content and features for your virtual you. It’s going vertical, with a city full of towering skyscrapers. It’s also going dark, adding a brand new vampire system to sink your teeth into. But it’s also going social, with more activities that you can enjoy with other Sims, like barhopping with groups of friends for a night out on the town or even starting your own band.

    It looks like Late Night is going to rock, so we were very pleased to have a chance to speak with Melanie Lam, associate producer for The Sims 3: Late Night to find out more about the new Band career in the upcoming expansion.   • TouchGen over De Sims 3 Ambities voor iPhone & iPod Touch

    If you enjoy the other Sims games definitely consider getting this as well. It is more of a addon than a complete game. Much what I thought about the World Adventures game, but the difference is that you at least get the Sims feel in this one. There is no flying around the world, and the mundane life feels more real. Of course being a rock star might be a bit out of the ordinary mundane world of the Sims. The mini games are generally improved, and controls quite alright. In my opinion the original the Sims 3 for the iPhone is still the best place to start if you are new to the franchise. The Sims 3 Ambitions is the most polished experience, and definitely recommended for old time fans for the series for both PC and iPhone.

  • S3N review: The Sims 3 Fast Lane

    Last week we published our review of The Sims 3 Fast Lane in Dutch and we translated this review into English so our foreign friends can enjoy it too.

    We don’t need a lot of words to describe the Intrigue items: there are only three cars. We have no clue why there isn’t a set of Furniture with this theme. Probably because the cars are so expansive, your Sim won’t have any Simoleons left to buy furniture.

    The Empire Eidolon §110.000, the Requiescence §90.000 and the La Matea §41.000. Again, the cars a really pricy but on the other hand, you will have a really fast car and the whole neighborhood and your friends will be jealous.

  • De Sims Middeleeuwen: interview met Rachel Bernstein vertaald

    Het interview met senior producer Rachel Bernstein over De Sims Middeleeuwen op Gamespot is door Fransor vertaald. Het interview bevat erg veel leuke details en nieuwe screens over het nieuwe spel dat in maart 2011 in de winkels zal liggen.

    GS: We hebben al gezien hoe de dokter is, met zijn instrumenten die op martelwerktuigen lijken en zijn bloedzuigers, maar we hebben begrepen dat er een tovenaar komt. Vertel ons over zijn mogelijkheden en hoe zit het met magie in de middeleeuwen?

    RB: tovenaren doen onderzoek en maken nieuwe toverspreuken. Ze kunnen deze gebruiken in het spel. Ook kunnen tovenaren in hun bol kijken om informatie te vinden. Er zijn ook magische drankjes en andere magische items die ze kunnen gebruiken bij de quests.Net als andere beroepen, wordt de tovenaar beter in toveren als hij meer ervaring heeft en hoe hoger zijn level, hoe meer spreuken en recepten.

    Simtimes heeft 6 nieuwe artworks online gezet die van De Sims 3 Na Middernacht box komen. Volgens mij zijn enkele al bekend maar ja.

    Langzaam maar zeker zijn onze forumleden Barnacle Bay aan het ontdekken en Alexie heeft op ons forum wat leuke screens online gezet.

  • Artikel over De Sims 3 Ambities voor mobiel

    Het was natuurlijk al bekend, en we hebben de screenshots al gepost, maar De Sims 3 Ambities voor de mobiele telefoon is in aantocht. Hier het eerste artikel.

    Strumming away at a guitar for hours on end will still gain the skills needed to be a top-class guitar player in the game, and you’ll need to make sure your Sim goes to work in time lest he be fired, but careers now also ask for more varied actions to progress, like insulting a crowd at the new Festival area of town. Elsewhere, there’s a whole new range of furniture from each of the four different ‘classes’ of sim (Music, Art, Sports, Fashion), and a dedicated hobby room in the house for them to relax, chill, and sew some iron-pumping riffs. We’ll see if The Sims 3: Ambitions ends up a desirable suburb or a downtrodden slum soon.
