Het deel over De Sims begint op 45.00 en na enkele minuten is er een erg leuke video te zien die hopelijk binnenkort apart online zal komen.

De Sims 3 Ambities is echt een heel gevarieerd spel! Je hebt er zeker urenlang spelplezier mee! De beroepen zijn stuk voor stuk zeer uitgebreid en zijn ook weer heel anders van elkaar. Bij privédetective zijn er vele verschillende quests dat je nauwelijks twee keer dezelfde quest tegenkomt. Natuurlijk zul je ze wel op een gegeven moment allemaal gezien hebben, maar er zijn er echt ongelofelijk veel en ze zijn ook bijna allemaal vrij lang. De verhaaltjes zijn ook altijd heel grappig; je Sim heeft altijd van die droge opmerkingen tussendoor en de dingen die je moet opsporen/oplossen zijn ook heel komisch.

Ik weet dat we wat laat zijn met het melden van deze previews en nieuwe screens maar na een erg drukke periode voor de release van De Sims 3 Ambities is ons team druk bezig met het spelen van Ambities en een grote update die de komende weken wel online zal komen.
Maar de Engelstalige IGN heeft 2 nieuwe previews (met nieuwe screens) online gezet voor De Sims 3 op de console en handheld die rond 26 oktober 2010 in de winkels zal liggen.
In the past people would argue that the PC version of The Sims was the “proper” one, and in the past I would have agreed without question. However, after seeing the array of console experiences being developed for The Sims 3, it’s obvious that EA has worked hard this time around to make games that are trying to be both true to the original game they draw their name from, and also unique enough to stand on their own merits.

A huge part of the appeal in Sims has always come from the god complex the game affords its players, and Sims 3 DS gives you a few extra abilities to help you exert even more control over your character’s lives. Karma is earned through finishing specific goals in game, which then awards players Karma points they can spend to cast spells on their Sims. Want to make your Sims pay for their insolence? Cast a fire spell on your house and watch them scream in terror. Alternatively, if you’re happy with your Sims you can spend your Karma to give them things like additional luck.

Cinema Blend heeft de afgelopen dagen verschillende afleveringen online gezet met hun eerste indrukken van De Sims 3 Ambities en vandaag is het laatste deel online gekomen.
Final Verdict: Ambitions adds a lot to the game in terms of new activities and job professions. That said, it’s definitely going to appeal more to players who want their Sims to advance professionally. For those who prefer their Sims to spend less time working and more time with their families, building relationships, throwing parties and wandering the neighborhood, Ambitions won’t really get in the way of that but you might find yourself neglecting the personal aspects of your Sims’ lives as you devote your efforts to helping them along in their careers.

All of what I see is still very early in development. Player says the team will decide how much, if any, of the Karma Powers should be unlocked for players at the beginning of the game. They’re a bit more confident, however, about what the Wii and DS versions will be able to do at launch. They explain that because of hardware limitations, it’s much easier to define special gameplay features — such as how you have direct control of your Sim in the Wii version. This means you play the game in a third — person view similar to an action-adventure game than to the overhead god-view established in The Sims on PC.
